CDRF is deeply embedded in California dairy industry and its communities and uses its independent non-profit public benefit structure to lead and deliver best research and science based programs towards innovative and sustainable California and U.S. dairy industry.
CDRF supports research and science-based educational programs relevant to its mission through the provision of grant funds. Changing economic conditions and new interests will alter CDRF’s program priorities in time. However, priorities must always be relevant, actionable, and aligned with the goals of the stakeholders at all times.
Generating Value for the Dairy Industry
CDRF generates value through increased milk utilization that leads to more industry competitiveness and innovation, and improved ability to respond to consumers/customers.
When CDRF project outputs are taken up by the dairy industry, one or more outcomes are achieved. These outcomes generate value for the California and U.S. Dairy Industry.
